Deep purple, well integrated tannins (smooth). Great balance. Nice wine. Would buy again.

I'd drink this all day long as a substitute for a high priced Napa cab. Bought this for only $45. A Steal for what it is.

Loads of blood and iron. Disjointed in the beginning but after air came together. Slightly linear.

Thanksgiving day three 11/25/17. Blind tasting vs Perrin and Crozes. All three distinct and tasty. Thought this might be Perrin. When revealed didn't think it's best value. Black fruits and violets but seemed a bit closed off yet sense of elegance. Long finish. CVed twice already.

CVed 5/10/17. Thought it was the 2001. Took an hour for nose to open up. Wild floral notes mixed with spicy gamey smoky bacon. Still tannic and acids on palette with long acidic and leather and biting finish. Needs time but already impressive! CVed again 8/17/17 comp with Cote Rotie Chapoutier and Calif Syrah Cabot Donelan. Same impression. A bit of lingering heat on finish. Ranked it number one.
