Hermitage Syrah

Oxidative in style but showing great food affinity for certain savory/sweet dishes. Wonderful with spicy squash soup.an acquired taste perhaps but still a very nice wine.

A perfect example of Guigal's Hermitage Blanc. Balanced and powerful and elegant at the same time. Classic white Hermitage

Сливовая шкурка, черноплодка, черёмуха, ежевика, красный апельсин, тапенад, бастурма, тонкие копчености, чёрный перец, мята, кожа, соевый соус, лакрица, крошеная кора. Полное, но не дряблое тело; яркая, жилистая кислотность; сухие танины. Концентрированно, освежающе-сочно в атаке и иссушающе-деревянно в послевкусии, при этом по-своему гармонично. Не слишком изящно, но уверенно, убедительно и мускулисто. Ещё очень молодо.

Interesting but not exciting nose of raspberry and muted strawberry initial slight fruit and good acid but strong hot finish for 13% ABV
