2011 vintage. A hint of blueberries and überripe blackberries along with smoked meats in the nose. Medium/heavy body that is super smooth and silky for a Gig. A little white pepper on the finish along with multiple berries, ripe cherry and some dark chocolate. Currently displaying "fruit-bomb" status and noticeably without long-term, aging structure. How do you tell a beautiful woman to be less "showy" and more "classy?" You don't.

Wet Forrest floor and spice on the nose. Complex mix of blueberry and cherry mixed with tobacco on the tongue. Medium bodied. I personally prefer their cotes du rhone offering given the price difference...but solid nonetheless.

A bit harsh and bity. Intense bouquet. Decanting helped. Spicy. Sadly the finish struggles.
