Big ole Pinot. Learned how cold Marin County really is. Long growing season and hang time. Really tiny, concentrated berries. Dark, inky color for a Pinot but surprising acidity. Not heavy handed with the oak, all climate here. Really interesting.

Delicious balance of russian river fruit (ripe strawberry/raspberry/black cherry) w red currant, forest floor, cardamom and mushroomy notes. Tried alongside 2007 vintage--think it will age well!
