Distinctly New World but not over the top. Medium ruby with a lovely balance of red fruit and violet/earthy notes. A bit of overly toasted oak intrudes on an otherwise long finish.

Near perfect balance between fruit, spice and earth. The weight of this wine is spot on in my opinion, light-med body, color of cranberry juice. 2011 is drinking well right now, wouldn't expect it to hold too much longer.

Well balanced, really nice pairing with our Hannukah dinner. Chopped liver, potato latkahs, brisket
