whoop wow the nose. sexy. meaty, spicy, tar, graphite. Oh, color- opaque. brilliant ruby when held up to light. inky dark. my teeth will never recover and I can’t worry bout that, can I? tannins nicely integrated, grippy finish. really good but I think I prefer the Stained Tooth for aging.

A big MOURVEDRE dominant blend (no longer Syrah dominant). Pepper and big fruit, plenty of tannin and weight for this, tasted even better the second day. :)

Aug 4th, 2018Big, fruity, almost menacing (in terms of fruityness). Huge red plumb, strawberry, and raspberry notes. White pepper notes are distinctive (26% Mourvedre). Yum!!

Touch of vanilla and dark fruits on the nose, lush and fruity with good acidity. Good alone or with BBQ meats or Gouda/hard cheeses. High alc not a pair with any spice I was.
