I recently had this 2018 Dusky Goose Rambeaux Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley, Newberg, Oregon .

On the nose there was cherry, strawberry, cranberry, clove, spice, mint, violets and a hint of oak.

On the palate was bing cherries, raspberry, strawberry, clove, herbs, vanilla, spice and some forest floor.

This was medium bodied with a smooth velvety mouthfeel medium+ acidity and medium fine elegant tannins that gives a medium +to long red fruit finish. All in all a very nice wine. We are starting the weekend, so please stay safe and healthy. It looks as though we may be headed out of this pandemic, lets keep our fingers crossed. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Neither of us really liked this one. It’s drinkable but not great. From Screwtop wine club.

Pinot Noir blended from Rambouillet and Fennwood Vineyards. New wine from Lynn Penner-Ash. Very approachable now. Lighter, blackberries, raspberries, and a hint of pepper. Super value at $40.
