Fresh mineral (!), green pepper, cassis and lead on the nose, bit of smoke from wood and sap to the fruit - but otherwise more bordeaux than many bordeaux in 2010! Nice cigar note, plenty fresh on palate, again a dash sappy, medium length and full weight. Very lively for napa, no alcohol or wood on finish, excellent for a cali cab but still doesn't quite have $100 concentration in my books. Nevertheless, one of my favorites from the golden state... 2010 vintage.

Super steady and stern. Will be killer in a decade. God bless Dunn wines for their painfully unapologetic focus of the RULES of wine making. This wine breaks none of them. It sets them.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color with slight browning on the edges. Nose was rustic and refined. Cherries and subtle bell peppers. High quality with a medium finish. Dunn and I just click!

End the night with Dunn. Big change- this is more fruit forward with dark fruit flavors and solid chocolate flavors. Medium bodied with great balance. Dunn is always solid.

A disappointing bottle. Olive tapenade, leather, herbs and some cherry fruit. Lacks depth and structure of a Dunn Cabernet. I fear and hope this is NOT a representative bottle.

Oak on the nose upon opening. Complex. Takes an hour to open up and reveal the berry flavors

Superb. More of classic Bordeaux style and finish than an expected Napa bomb. Lovely.
