Incredible color for an 11 year old wine. The color is still super purple/pink at the rim. Little to no bricking in color. Rim variation is the only indicator of age whatsoever.
Nose: fresh blackberry, black cherry and jammy plum come to mind. Very ripe nose. Lots of spicy oak notes. Creme brûlée and chocolate notes with minimal methoxypyrazines. More cakelike on the nose than any napa cab ive tried.
Palate: underripe black cherry and blackberries. A super fun tartness with good acid give excellent structure. Soft but noticeable tannins linger with an an oaky finish. Brown sugar and baking spices linger with a cedar tone. Lovely wine. Worth every penny!

Dude. Duuuuude. So bright and fresh, totally missed it in the blind. Berry fruit jumps out- dark core, not even showing significant signs of age aside from softened tannins. Peppercorn notes.

Mmm, this is good. If you could imagine Dunn being delicate. Lots of acidity with dark fruit. Very soft tannins and a long aftertaste.
