Very nice bottle and oldest I've had to date. Dusty and dirty, with some saddle leather and oak on the nose, surprisingly still alive with some red fruit on the palate.. Still spry for a 29 yr old!

Still a monster and it isn't even the Howell Mountain. Blinded some colleagues on this and they took it to Bordeaux.

Cassis, black currant, earthy, mineral, relatively structured still, nice balance, moderately rich, just a tad dusty/drying tannins in the long, lingering finish, lovely older Napa Cabernet!!

Mar 21st, 2025This Dunn Napa (quicker to evolve than the Howell Mountain) is drinking beautifully and is at peak, still shows a tad of that famous Dunn “structure”, long, lingering finish, terrific Napa Cabernet!!
