Solid WA Syrah. Excellent for those who worship Taransaud barrels. 2013 vintage
Mr MacLachlan’s wine is no longer made at Dunham. Abeja now and it’s the oak that make them special. Shout out to artist Caroline Church, who does incredible art for the labels.

Smokey blueberry on the nose. High acid and a bunch of bubble gum, wow. Kinda crazy. Not dense, a lot lighter than expected

Solid wine. I'm not a big fan of collaborations. In fact, I didn't like the Gretzky VQAs, the Andretti reds or the Dreaming Trees, but this one just brings me back to that ever so famous Walla Walla vibe. I guess I just love Walla x2 Syrahs. This one, Kontos, Va Piano and Dunham's.

Called it an Aussie Shiraz. Purple color. Mostly lush blueberries and blackberries. Red cherries and pomegranates. Minty eucalyptus and toasted vanilla. Soft med+ acidity and smooth tannins.

Blackberry, crushed blueberry, bark, and hints of green pepper. Beautiful bouquet with a solid structure and medium(+) finish.

Berry berry berry, can’t you see? Sometimes you just baby bear me! Berrys, a touch of smoke and a whole heaps of cuteness - big wine for sure.

For those that want a rich de-stemmed non-funky washington syrah, this is one of the best examples. Blue fruit, brown sugar. Oak influence mellowed out after a couple hours.
