The 2019 Chardonnay Wester Reach is a terrific appellation level wine. Crushed rocks, lemon confit, slate and green orchard fruit all grace this taut, nervy Russian River Chardonnay. Loved this Chardonnay from DuMol. Enough oak to get your attention, but still maintained the RRV character. Meyer lemon, apricot and stone fruit. Gave it a good hour and it really blossomed. Lingering finish with a hint of acidity.
