At first smelled as if it's getting old or entering closing stage, but opened after 1 hour and tasted of strawberry jam, spicy herbs, liquorice, and a hint of raspberry. There's also velvet chocolate in the nose. The color is darker and more cloudy than usual pinot noir, probably because it's unfined and unfiltered. Once you get used to the fruitiness, it's as complex as a great burgundy.

Cigar/cedar box. Opens into dried strawberry and cherries. Big for a PN. Really enjoyed it. Nice Mag, thanks Gabe!

One of my favorite Pinots. Very elegant mild berry flavors. With a cooked strawberry flavor on the finish. I have a flight from 08, 09, & 2010. Could not wait any longer to pull this off the rack.

Wow. Great RRV nose. Fruit and some hints of spice on the finish. Balance of acidity and fruit in the mouth and finish is fantastic. Probably at its peak. Really enjoyable.
