Russian River Valley Syrah

Very cool climate influence. Silky and elegant.

With time in the decanter it softens up. Solid structure still, inky, lots of dark fruit but ripeness is in check. Good stuff.

Amazing. Rich and fruity. Thick, but low tannins. Unfiltered, which is lovely!

This was enjoyable on its own, but couldn’t stand up against the Myriad

Delicious. Darker savory notes. Olives, muted lilacs, a new world Rhône only missing the hot rock notes

Very impressive showing! This was a great balance of power and finesse. Tannins were already nicely integrated and the acidity held it all in check.

Nice surprise. Blackberries, chocolate, and spice (vs. pepper and meat). Rich but not over done. Way better than the last bottle I had.

Wine to end the night and a pretty one at that! Lilacs, wildflowers, big, tannins not too grippy.

Big and rich, full bodied and lithe, well integrated, good with C's chicken and sausage dish, sh/ improve over next 3-5 yrs. but drinks well today with aeration.

Known more for their Pinot noir but this is an impressive effort as well. Very old world style dark fruit
