Russian River Valley Chardonnay

DuMOL's 25 acre sustainably farmed Estate Vineyard is located on an east-facing slope on the appellation's famous ridgelines. Aged for 12 months on French oak (30% new), blended from 6 vineyards, pale straw with green edges revealing stone, tropical and citrus aromas with white floral notes. On the palate melon, tart peach and orange flavors with spice and oak. Lingering finish ending with finesse. Drinking well..

Bright citrus but flabby

Showing a little hot and muted. Disappointing given the estate's reputation

A great balance of power and elegance. As much as this is delicious now, it is built for the long haul.

Love the restraint. Burgundian style, but still obviously California

A bit oxidized already, which added a carmelized character. Had a delicious factor, but not a show stopper by any means.

Ripe, fruit forward, little hot but pleasant.
