DuMOL's 25 acre sustainably farmed Estate Vineyard is located on an east-facing slope on the appellation's famous ridgelines. Aged for 12 months on French oak (30% new), blended from 6 vineyards, pale straw with green edges revealing stone, tropical and citrus aromas with white floral notes. On the palate melon, tart peach and orange flavors with spice and oak. Lingering finish ending with finesse. Drinking well..

Showing a little hot and muted. Disappointing given the estate's reputation

A bit oxidized already, which added a carmelized character. Had a delicious factor, but not a show stopper by any means.

For those at our Mother's Day Brunch who had to have Chardonnay; the DuMol was a great crowd pleaser.

This wine started with a bursting pearly opening, vibrant yellow apple scent, then calmed down to mild nutty and vanilla aroma. On the palate, it had full body weight and delivers creamy and buttery and creamy flavor with uninteresting acidity. The finish contains an unpleasant oaky bitterness that probably results from excessive new oak aging. It definitely needs more complex nuances and solid minerality
