Fine tannins, opened nicely, long finish ending with notes of berry fruits espresso, vanilla, mineral oaky tones and earthy spice. Nice good now, will age well!! Pair this with a roast duck!

Opened it too young, but a great year for this outstanding CA merlot. A distinct burnt cinnamon edge, powdered chocolate, blackberry/blueberry. Not too heavy on the palate; a bit tannic. In FL, to Dad's memory.
