Oldest wine we tried tonight, so youthful, fresh and complex, this blew us all away as it tasted like a 10-15 year old wine rather than almost 40 years old, probably has 10+ years of further development, even in this solid crew of Bordeaux, WOTN!!

Aug 11th, 2021Classic older Napa Merlot, the CS really shows and still provides very nice structure, admittedly a leaner Napa vintage, but still fresh and nicely balanced w/acidity, solid 3 Palms!!

Took a while to open up, but once it did it still had a lot of life! Surprising amount of fruit on the nose and a long finish.
Fun to open a birthyear wine!
