88% CS, 9% Merlot, 2% PV, 1% CF, all from Calistoga where more clay with better water retention. Lightest Cab in their offering not as structured as other bottling. I smell mostly alcohol, clover, red fruit and blood, bramble, red/black/blue-berry pie, oak spice... high acidity, very short finish on the out-of-balance acidity. Did they acidify the wine???

Solid cab. Opened and drank slowly over 3.5 hours. Bouquet of fruit aromas upon opening that were well integrated and not overwhelming at first sip.
