Dry Creek Vineyard
Heritage Vines Sonoma County Zinfandel
Really nice balance of fruit, spice and acid. A steal at costco for $13.

Minus the pickled part, the aromas and flavors were almost identical to these beloved cherries. Anyway, cherries, cranberries and juicy blackberries are highlight by fennel, espresso and cedar. Beautiful balance between fruit, fine tannins and elegant acidity result in a stand-out Zin. There's so much to love about this wine & this winery.

Oct 8th, 2014My favorite bottle of wine under $20, though I might prefer the 2013 vintage.

Jul 24th, 2015Trying out the Dry Creek Vineyards Zinfandel and I'm happy. Plums and blueberries on the nose. Earth, spice, and oak on the palate. Nice acid on the finish. A bit dense but not too much. I need 3 or 4 bottles of this after this day.
