Pretty red fruit, red vines, artificial cinnamon and spices. At first, tons and tons of herbs. Restrained and elegant. Silky. Easy to love

Well balanced wine. It held it's own in a serious blind tasting.

Superb. Juicy and fruity, followed immediately by an earthy minerality. Subtle complexity, elegant structure. Wish I had the dough to make this a go-to bottle. Just delightful.

We got this wine straight from the original makers in CA, absolutely delicious. Definitely will get it again.

It's still summer! Cooking some Santa Maria tri-tip...
Lovely grenache from one of the great Santa Ynez vineyards.

Deep, rich aromas of ripe strawberry, raspberry liqueur and sour cherry, with smoky notes of nori and camphor, along with herbal notes of dried thyme, bay leaf, and anise and baking spices such as cardamom and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and silky, with waves of sexy red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry cranberry) complicated by earth notes of forest floor and pine along with black tea and black olives. The wine is lifted by energetic, citrus-laced (orange peel) acidity, while solid, yet ripe tannins provide structure for aging.
