Jun 11th, 2024Amazing nose. Brilliant nose. So complex I don’t know where to begin. Huge complex citrus. Tangelo, citrus oil and sweet pink grapefruit. Unreal spice and a complex perfume that has to be smelled to be believed. It’s so dense and so layered. Vanilla extract now. There’s so many more aromas I don’t quite have the vocabulary. But as it airs maybe they will become more clear. Nose now has more clearly defined and richer fruit. Much more depth.
Palate is unreal but closed but it’s a drooling Mozart wine. It’s all there and brilliant but young and drooling. Juicy and complex with top tier finesse. So dense yet light on its feet. Unreal clarity of tangelo and sweet citrus fruit buffered by an intense complex minerality that explodes on the finish. Wow. Needs mega mega air but it is all there and more. The finesse and complexity in the finish is unmatched. Just insane. Wow the palate has incredible focus now and the most incredible pink grapefruit ever. Wow. So good. This is elite GG.
Wow on day 2. Now the nose adds complexity with herbals that are so profound. Also anise and even lavender. Insane. Palate just glides so well. So juicy, nimble and complex.

Still needs a year or two but you can see that this will be utter genius when it’s ready. Really good now.
Nose: big lemon lemon flower almost sweet. Wow. A 9.8.
Palate: sweet lemon. Lemon pith. Massive mineral soak on the finish.
Long finish. Minerals. Sweet lemons.
Man. This is fantastic. Crazy pfalz minerality.
45 minute decant if you drink it now. Major mid palate black hole on open.
