Fine Tawny Porto Blend

Reminds me of cherries from an old fashioned. Headed into the glügg pot!

Baked cherries, cocoa dust, caramel and all nuts on the finish. A delight.

Good budget port. Not very complex, rather acid for my taste. But any tawny is welcome

Pale garnet-hued. Aromas and flavors of almond, black cherry, bread, caramel, leather, red plum, and vanilla. Medium body; low tannins; and high acidity. A dessert-like bouquet on the nose; while off-dry on the palate with a medium-length finish. Solid, introductory Tawny Port.

Deep garnet color. Aromas of baked cherries, cocoa powder and raisins. Perfect end of to a wine evening.

Really simple and sugary. Nose gives more alcohol than fruit. A Tuesday Porto for sure. But any tawny is fine in my book.

Tasty if not the most complex port. Syrupy. Carmelized cherries, cocoa, hazelnuts, spice.

Decent port. Doesn’t taste like a true Tawny to me; the color looks more like a Ruby as well. Little too sweet for a Tawny as well. Good with dessert though.

Sort of a simple, syrupy grapes & cherries flavor which is nice. Easy.
