Medium ruby hue. Aromas of earthy, plum, raspberry, smoke, and yeast--and more than a hint of Brettanomyces. Medium body; medium tannins; medium acidity; flavors of black fruit. Rather robust and rustic, so I suspect other varietals blended in. Medium length on a somewhat bitter finish.

Fruity, but soft. Not as dry as i would expect from a merlot

Good very light tasting wine. Decent contender for Italian dinners.

For the price a decent wine. Not something I would eat with a good meal. Probably an weekday wine.

I loved the berry flavors in this wine. A little sweeter than most Merlots - delicious!
