Nov 17th, 2016Excellent. Very precise and focused. A touch of new oak is present but rounds it out nicely. What an amazing BTG list Will Costello has assembled here.

Sep 30th, 2015Dosnon & Lepage are grower/producers who have benefitted from the newly-enlarged Champagne appellations--a lovely, nearly bone-dry, blanc de blancs that is a happy partner to cold seafood-based starters--YUM!

Oct 17th, 2013A beautiful lemon with nice perlage. The creaminess is there and so is the liveliness. 100% Chardonnay from the Pinot Noir dominate Cotes des Bar. Disgorged in May of 2017, this has a few years on it and it shows. Racy acidity with only 5 g/l of dosage, the dryness really amplifies the fruit. A nice backbone and structure without much depth.
Expressive is the word of the day here. The nose is easily the highlight here with notes of peaches, papayas, and toast to start. Apricots and white flowers. The palate follows that closely with the addition of spice and herbs. A really pleasant Blanc de Blanc that is does what you want it to do.
