Such a sick nose. Spice, cherries and so delicate and linear. Gorgeous chestnut. Stunningly mineral. Really really impressive aromas. 13’s coming into their own. Just such lift here. Palate is so juicy and has that insane core of 2013 fruit. Complex with terrific texture and velvety sweet tannins. So pure and deep. Awesome structure and length. Just a brilliant bottle of Barolo. Really terrific. Structure getting more noticeable as it airs out

Beautiful Barolo. Slightly over the hill. Raspberry bouquet. Almost no tannin. 1995.

Deep ruby color with thin orange rim. Cherry, rose petals, and hints of earth on the nose. Tart cherry fruit on the palate with aggressive tannins which benefitted from some time to open up. Would probably wait another 3-5 years to approach this wine again.

Floral aromas of rose petals and violets on the nose. In the glass, concentrated red berry fruit, good acidity, and dry, chewy tannins. Benefits from some time to open up before drinking. Should drink beautifully now and for 10 years or more.

Needs some air.

With air (30 minutes)

Nose Jesus wept. Lavender. Cherry flower. Hint of meat.

Palate: cherry. Cherry spice. Hints of deliciousness.

This is young. Telling you it has more to give. It has upside with age. Likely a good amount.

The best way to welcome 2015. Took three hours just to begin to open up.
