How classic is that!

Lychee in crystallized ginger/syrup, peach cocktail, tangerine, floral potpourri. Like a cafeteria tropical fruit medley w some heady Asian spice peppered in. Off dry.

Decent Gewurtztraminer, little sweet for my taste but it paired well with Salmon en Croute

We picked up this 2019 Alsatian Gewurtztraminer from The Wine Collective during their epic sale a few months back.

We were having spicy chicken enchiladas for dinner and this really was the perfect match. The slight sweetness in the wine was perfect with the jalapeño spice in the dish.

In the glass it’s a golden morning sunshine shade. Tropical fruit aromas rise out of the glass with hints of florals, lemon curd, vanilla honey and ginger soaked pears. It is an absolute feast for the senses! It’s off-dry in the mouth with those tropical notes flowing onto the palate - think fresh fruit with a baking spice kick to it. A bold white wine for sure.
