Dönnhoff
Kreuznacher Krötenpfuhl Kabinett Riesling
Everything about this is typical German and typical Dönnhoff. Those a very good things. A slightly pallid gold with the barest hint of little green flecks. Honeysuckle vibes all day long. Really nice herbal notes and just innate cleanness and freshness on the nose. Sliced green apples drizzled with honey.
These Dönnhoff wines always amuse me, I’ve had the high end and the low end and there’re all just yummy and deliciously satisfying, to be honest. Off dry with nice acidity and infinite quaffability. Peaches and petrol shine on the tongue. Just the right amount of citrus prettiness. But still firm and serious at the same time. Really nice stuff here. It’s Dönnhoff.

What a beautiful kabinett riesling. There is bay leaf, curry leaf, apricot and sour plum on the nose and lemon tart, coconut and olive oil on the palate. Pair this with southeast Asian food.
