A bit of barnyard funk at first but then comes a bright red fruit (black currant mainly) and some almond. I like the nose. The palate is wide and long with a great acid backbone and some matter on the sides with red fruits and grip. Mild tannins help kick up the wine before a long lasting finish with small red berries. Very interesting, I like it

This wine gives winter meaning. Give me a bottle and a log fire.
