Not Kermit lunch Gang of Four! Very fruit forward and palate coating. It has some qualities of Santa Rita pinot with baking spices. Not a lot of crunchy cherries or rock in this one. More ripe fruits. Enjoyable but do not buy if looking for typical old world gamay.

May 4th, 2022Nose is somewhat closed but palate is tart cherries with a hint of maraschino. Some good earth and forest too. It’s more dense than I was expecting but I do like it. I don’t think I’ve had a santa Rita gamay.
