What a difference a year makes! Palate is so much better, dark berries, olives, spices, purple flowers, and a long finish. I still get a hint of the smoke but it is so much better integrated. This is why wine will always be my favorite beverage.

Apr 28th, 2019The nose is nice. Cherries and blackberries and pepper, but the palate is very Smokey and disjointed. Interested to see if this improves overnight or with more time. We’ll see with the other bottle in the cellar.

Beautiful Syrah. On the nose, spices, pepper and olives. In the mouth dried lilacs, bacon, black fruit. Very dense. Medium long finish. Lovely. Likely a strong upside in a few more years.
