Cuvée Christine Sonoma County Syrah

It’s like one of those old sci fi movies where the astronaut eats a pill that contains the entire meal; You get pie, bacon wrapped figs with roast beef and olives, and then pie again to close! (Tasted over 3 nights… first was pow and last was balance).

Ugh Syrah gets me every time - especially from these guys. Bacon drippings, animale, sweat, and intense varietal character. I could drink this all the time.

Very well balanced and rich Rhone style white. Lovely.

Great new age Ca chard lots of butter and lemon without the oak. 2014 Nancie drinking so we’ll.

What a great find from a greater friend- Bill Henesy who has long extolled the virtues of Donelan. It is unlike any Syrah in the best way. Nice dark fruit forward with the sense of an Old World Rhone

Needs to open up 30 minutes or so. Once opened smooth at first with big tannic finish.
