Very decent for a moderately priced mail-club wine. Medium to full bodied in the glass with deep plum colors. There is more spice on the nose than palate. Surprisingly smooth and balanced with tannins under control. Id would suspect oak aging has mellow this a bit and would account for the vanilla. Overall enjoyed this wine. I'd drink again.
