Highly aromatic mid weight solid red with low acidity. Raspberry, mulberry, ripped cherry, peppermint stripped candy with beautiful mineral layer of earthiness wrapping it all. Mencia is one of those underrate grapes that is worth to be discovered. Finally, this variety is reaching the division that deserves thanks to the expertise, soils and wine making tradition on the northwestern area of Spain... Don’t miss the opportunity of trying it ! ... Best slightly chill ( 11 to 15 Celsius ) .
