I think I’m drinking this too young. It’s fairly saturated and very pure and beautiful wild blackberry fruit. No pyrazines. I would give this another few years in the cellar. Popping half bottle in the fridge and expecting it to be excellent tomorrow. 

Nicer than the bottle of this we had a couple years ago. With some air really evens out and certainly presents as cab franc on the nose. Quite deep, actually, while staying light on its feet with excellent acid and just enough tannins.

Aromatically somewhat muted, but still a quite nice Saumur cab franc. Very nice mouthfeel. Acids bit less than I was hoping. Everything quite integrated. Probably slightly lower than expectations but still a nice wine.

Phenomenal. A deep, concentrated cab franc with excellent structure. Drinks really well now with air, has at least 7+ years of evolution to go. Dark berries, mulberries and blackberries, lavender, cocoa, classic Loire bell pepper, leather, wet rock. Superb.

Just how I like Cab franc - red fruit, complexity. Lovely wine:)

Solid. Prefer the 11.
