The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour and presence of legs.

The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of dark plums, blackberries, vanilla, chocolate and hints of lavender. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium(+) ripe rounded tannins and a medium(+) alcohol. It has a medium(+) body and medium(+) intensity flavours of dark plums, blackberries, cocoa and hints of lavender. The finish is medium(+).

It is a very good quality wine. It has a very good overall balance among all structural elements and a very decent flavour concentration and finish, but a better example of this style would be more aromatically complex.

Can drink now, but it has enough tannic structure and flavour concentration to develop some more complex tertiary aromas over the next 2-3 years.

Really too bad, what would have been a lovely spicy, black raspberry, maybe even earthy; highly concentrated old vine vine drop - completely over done with oak. Like most Bierzos, come on bys...

Intense color. Very balanced mouth but still a bit young (2015, thus 2 years of aging). Good experience but need to aged a bit more to reach a great experience.
