Flor de Pingus Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

A bit of a monolithic expression.

Powerful and packed with dark, brooding fruit, clever oak treatment and obvious crushed rock minerality. Long, fruity and tasty finish promising to deliver even more complexity in another few years.

I really enjoy this wine. It's only downside is that it's lacking a little intensity of aromas. Otherwise it's perfect. It's bold and smooth at the same time.

Being in Denmark the Danes are sharing the Danish winemaker's Spanish wine - perfumed cassis and beautiful

Lovely purity, already ready to go, this great wine show stunning fruit intensity framed by integrated toasty oak, fresh acidity and minerals drivning flavors long and complex. Lacks true depth, though.

Initial funk (with some stinky cheese in there for good measure) that mellows into a heavenly body.

Wonderful wine but compared to its big brother you understand why Pingus commands the price it does. Still a magnificent effort.

Big and juicy

Big, powerful red with deep, rich fruit and tannins that would stand up to just about any roasted eat you can find.
Definitely goes well with Robert steak and potatoes

Rich. Very very young. Full bodied. Blackberry jam. Smooth. Silky. Great wine.
