Right, ripe tropical fruity pineapple and mango. Fresh tones but a sweet touch as well. Caramel and salmiak/licquorish. Was well with spicy Indonesian food.

Stage 6 of #tourdefrance what a great Grand Cru Riesling. Hits all the right notes, green apple, petrol, some wax in the finish. Long full mouth and finish. Great expression of Alsace.

Medium lemon yellow with clean aromas of petrol, stone, wine peach, green apple and lime. On the palate, dry and complex flavors of quince, lime and green apple with high acidity and a long finish. Very good quality.

Naturally showing its age but still a very nice wine in good balance.
