Kessler Alsace Grand Cru Riesling

Beautiful gewurtz that paired nicely with a dinner of spicy, smokey, and citrus sushi and wagyu beef dishes.

Pale golden yellow. Beautiful aromatics of honeysuckle, nectar, apricot and lychee. Features a medium sweet and fruit forward palate with tropical fruits, starfruit, apricot, mango, and peach. Underlying it all is a slate and mineral component, like petrichor. Good acidic structure.

Moelleux, is the term that fits the bill. Herby nose, Sweet, but still full of the typical gewurtztraminer flavours. Like lychee, apricot. Nice bottle.

Medium lemon color with an intense nose of petrol, wet stone, white peach, lemon and toast. Quite dry with with a fruity impression of sweetness. High acidity, medium bodied with 13.5% abv. On the palate, lemon, white peach, blossom, green apple and hone. Long Finish. Though it lacks a bit of intensity it is a very good wine.

Sour and sweet aroma with pear and taste, very special. Delicious wine. Minerally and acidic. Highly balanced. 2014 @950(1140), Fwine -, 211030-211206

Pears and green apple on the nose, bitting acidity and minerality on the plate and a long dry finish with a touch of sweetness that helps to round out the outstandingly high acid structure.

Absolutely great. On nose sharp some citrus. Clean. Great acidity and perfectly balanced. Tropical and white fruits. Some sulphur, decant it or leave open early to open up. Amazing wine.
