This vintage is great and everything you want from Jurassic Poulsard. Needs a moment in the decanter to find it's feet - after an hour it's all raspberry and tart cherry and tea. It's not as specific or complex as the best examples, but it's immediate, delicious and satisfying. Do not attempt without food.

Much more interesting than the previous vintages sound. More barnyard and root beer aromatically than you'd expect for the variety, but drinking well. Too light at first, but revealed real elegant tannic structure and pure raspberry with time. DECANT.

2015 vintage. Reduced, but hardly a shocker as this is poulsard. Fair amount of mouse taint across a couple of different bottles spoils the wine.

Desværre lidt skuffende. Som for tynd rød saftevand. Ung (citron)syre. Måske mere at hente med lidt ventetid.

Skulle have toppet. Men stadig meget ung i syren. Urtet finish. Knirkende tanniner. Måske også Bini/Worner noter af Haribo-ferskner. Ikke så tynd og ligegyldig som for to år siden. Bedre med tid og temperatur og når den ikke stod helt alene. Men langt fra mindblowing.

Featherlight and the colour of a dark rosé.
With a bit of a naturalistic stink but with nice red berry fruit beneath. Crunchy, fresh, light & with nice energy.
Love the character - slightly funky, cidery, cloudy, juicy.

Helt tynd. Helt genial. Noter af Eiffeltårn. (23 euro).

Light in flavor, but balanced acid. Clear, transparent magenta color. Easy.

Fri night WM after RVLT.

Tart. Acidic. Light red, translucent.

“Very pale ruby indeed. Smells of sweetness and camembert if that is possible? Then rather dry and dusty on the end. Very distinctive and a great wine-bar wine. Not ‘serious’ but fun.” JR16.5, 2018
