Peppermint and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Red cherries on the front. Medium tannic structure with pleasing mineral finish. Even though the grapes are from a clay over limestone landscape I’m not picking up the calcaire. Very nice.

Classic St Emilion, second wine of this well known house who have been making this wine for 300yrs+. Terroir is clay? Soft, good structure, low tannins, no tart, for me leather, plums, floral and a hint of raspberry!?
