Dark purple color. Aromas of black and fruit and spice. Palate displays ripe jammy fruit, smoky toasted oak flavor, overly tannic, adding harsh spice, medium finish, a bit better than a prior vintage but not one of Rothschild’s best. Pass.

Wonderfully easy drinking blend that was very nice out of the bottle. After it was allowed to breathe, open up into a real treat. Smooth, fruity with nice tannins that wont hurt the budget.

Dark purple color. Aromas of black and fruit and spice. Palate displays ripe jammy fruit, toasted oak, almost a burnt flavor, somewhat tannic, combined with heavy spice. Finish is medium. It says Rothschild on the label but not one of their best. Pass.

60% semillion, 40% savignon-always lovely though prefer the Lacoste version which always seems a bit creamier

Very smooth and drinkable but it's boring. Nothing notable. Needs more layers to elevate it.

Good price point as an everyday wine. Did taste better after decanting
