Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite
Los Vascos Valle de Colchagua Sauvignon Blanc
Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with herb and grassy notes. On the palate flavors of pear, apple, citrus and some herb grassy tones with lively acidity. Medium finish, nice mouthfeel, ending crisp with earthy herbal, citrus, grassy and mineral notes.

May 2nd, 2022Star bright pale yellow. Abundant nose of grassy passion fruit. Palate falls a bit short of expectations from the nose, but delivers light doses of passion fruit, green apple, and lemon grass. Firm, minerally acidity from entry through short finish. A simple Chilean SB from the international Rothschild portfolio. A great pair for bright seafood and salads. A refreshing warm weather sipper. All for six bucks! Drink now.

Very grassy and somewhat floral nose, not sure the flower, maybe even a little pine needle or green, hard fruit. The palate is very light surprisingly, with equally vegetal and grassy notes throughout, with a dry finish, slight minerality but very fresh. Almost hints of sour green apple candy in there but def not the sweetness, with a nicely integrated acidity. This is definitely not a typical sav blanc, and any New Zealand or Aussie lover will balk probably, but I honestly prefer this.
