Les Légendes R Médoc Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, smoke, dried sage and oak. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

This wine shows a medium-dark ruby tint in the glass. Its nose is laden with dark fruit - blackberry, plum, currant - and laced with licorice, leather and sweet oak spice. The palate puts on an amazing display of fruit while serving up a savory side that stops just short of bramble. The tannins are firm and the finish lingers quite a while. It is a delicious wine.

Dark Crimson. Leafy herbal tobacco notes - unmistakeable Cab Sauv based. Lacking in mid palate fruit power but costing approx $35 and Ch Lafites 4th best Cab blend from the famous House of Lafite Rothschild this represents good value. Short to medium term cellaring.

Basic and uninspiring. Probably better in a stemless glass in a small bistro on Montmartre overlooking Paris on a moonlit spring night----yes, it would definitely be perfect then!

A great table wine. It has that caramelizes red fruit // sour cherry. Slight vegetal but easy to drink and pair with food.
