Terroir d' Alsace Riesling

Seems a bit advanced for '09 but great texture / acidity.

Clear, day bright and medium yellow, low concentration and medium minus viscosity.
Clean, medium intensity aromas of pear, apple, lime, petrol and honey.
Dry, medium plus body and medium plus alcohol, medium acidity,medium finish and medium complexity. This wine is delicate,fine texture,mineral finish.$228

Rating is based on 12 Riesling Herrenweg de Turckheim aka road of the gentlemen which is stunning w/ intense limestone minerality and long flinty finish...will make great old bones. 10 Riesling Terroir d'Alsace has sharper acidity due to vintage w/ white peach & floral notes. 12 Pinot Blanc has creamy texture & blanched almonds. 12 Pinot Gris a rich body w/ warming alcohol & distinctive lees-y, smoky notes. 11 Gewürz VT has lychee, mango, exotic spice w/ hint of perfume

Nose - Petrol and ripe white fruits. Mouth - ripe white fruits and a hint of citrus

Pretty cool wine. Racy mouthfell. Peach.
