At first this Alsacian wine presented huge lees characteristics, then opened up with Meyer lemon, peaches, and yellow flowers. An oiliness on the palate, coating and lasting. Paired exceptionally with both Roquefort cheese and a white asparagus, mushroom quiche.

Although I'm not a huge sweet wine fan, I have to say this is a wonderful wine. Very complex nose with yellow apple, dry apricots, honey, camellia, minerals to top it all off. Sweet yet still a dry white wine.
