Like this a lot. Candy orange, peach, apricots, citrus. Perhaps slightly too sugary rather than smooth, however.

May 20th, 2014From 375ml. Exotic nose of dried longan, overripe pineapple, peach, mandarin orange peel, honey, hint of mint, and touch of smoked hays. On the palate it’s focused and smooth, viscous but not thick. Not as sweet as I expected, though higher acidity is desired. Long elegant finish. Long long life ahead.
Clos Jebsal is a monopole site surrounded by grand crus, and was the only site that produced a late harvest bottling in 2009 for the winery.
