2018 Turckheim Reisling. High minerality, medium to low acid, slightly hotter than 11.5%ABV would suggest. Notes of lemon, melon, maybe grapefruit or kiwi. Has some barrel-adjacent flavours that took me by surprise. Can’t believe I’m saying this about an Alsace, but this could maybe use some more age to round out.
