Dried lemon skin, not zest, not juice. Chalk, wet rock....maybe flint.....freshly-dewed, Spring northern rye grass. Great vintage.....very young, but superb mouth feel with great acidic balance.

Jun 18th, 2017Le Sirene is a Soho establishment that does $10 corkage, excellent steak tartare and delicious moules, though sans frites. The first wine was this 2014 William Fevre. A little lacking in fruit but linear and focused with food friendly acidity.

May 29th, 2017Pale lemon. Nose of mainly chalky minerality with little Chardonnay fruit and zero oak influence. Crisp acid finish with short term cellaring potential. Enjoyed this with fresh Tasmanian Oysters.
