Pale Lemon in colour. Notes of mandarin and a little flint but overall more fleshy pulpy fruit than mineral. A great summer drink - peachy flavours - I will keep the other 5 bottles until later in the year. No need to cellar this. Refreshing uncomplicated drinking.

Pale Lemon in colour. Restrained nose (decanting less these days on younger wines preferring to often pour straight from the bottle). Aromas of sliced apple and lime with mineral and wet stone notes. On the palate apple notes and mineral. Lively medium acidity but not for long keeping. Simple but refreshing.

2017 Village is showing very well right now. First impression was more of exotic fruit character and round flesh in the mid palate but the overall character shifted dramatically with air. Lychee, mango, passion fruit and honeysuckle are still there, but savoring the finish reveals salt preserved key lime, wet stones and citrus pith. Quite pure and aromatic.

Not the most complex Chablis though last night it was perfect with my French onion soup. The acid was just right to go with the rich broth.

Mineralsk og flintet, men også god fylde og aromatisk pondus, ikke mindst med noter af modne sten-frugter, citrus og grønne urter.

Wine tasting no. 1 for Great Courses. Comparing to southern Australian chardonnay to contrast climates. Crisp, light, and good minerals. Green apple and lemon. Medium finish. $27 from Applejack.
