Medium lemon color with pronounced aromas of sweet stone fruit aromas with floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of ripe fruits, apple, peach and citrus with notes of honey, raisins and biscuit tones adding in some generous spice. Medium body, creamy, with medium sweetness and soft fruit and sweet spice tones. Medium+ finish ending with dried fruits and perfumed honey spice.

Star bright green gold. Yellow apples, honeysuckle, and orange spice on the abundant, bosomy nose. Smells sweet, but dry on the tongue. Medium full palate yields the same with orange and clove coming to the fore. Medium acidity makes this a classic Alsatian example of the spicy Traminer. There’s a complexity that elevates this to a much higher level than it’s price suggests. Flavors come in waves and layers making it just as at home as a fall sipper as with fine cuisine. I’m having sausages (chicken and wild boar), sauerkraut, and vegetable tarts. What will you have? Drink now through 2027.

Tasting with Eddy Faller: BAM!! That’s the entry in my nose 🤣 pure lychees and marzipan. Also herbs and spice. It’s of dry and a mouthful of wine, fat and silky stuff.
